The Finish Line

Well I made it!  I was able to use the impala to drive my new bride away from the church.  I couldn't have done it without the help of some good friends, a big thank you to everyone who helped!  There's still more work to do but I'm glad she's gotten to this point.

Lights and Trim

The lights are all wired and working!  We are working on fitting the side trim which was made a little bit harder because the factory holes were lost during the body repair.

Home

It's really nice to have the impala back close so we can (friend and I) work on her every day.  The dash needed some attention so it was cleaned up, body filled & sanded, currently sitting in primer.  Dash pad was removed with a new dash pad ready to install.

She's Coming Home Soon......

Well she's about done at the body shop -- looking sharp!  The impala will be coming back close to me, in a good friend's garage (who is a master mechanic and kind of like a Dad to me) where we can finish putting her back together, exhaust, wiring, and making sure the engine is running right.

More updates coming soon! :)
